         We should know something about data center because to run a big website or organizations or a social media a data center has a key role to provide and save information. Now before seeing what is a data center we should something about Server.

         A server is a high performance computer which provide information to its users, who are called "Clients". These clients access information provided by a server through the internet. These servers are provided with 24/7 power and internet supply. A server is one of the main components of a data center. There are different types of servers based on the work it is involved, They are

*FILE SERVER
*WEB SERVER
*DATABASE SERVER, etc...

                     A Data center is a place dedicated to store and provide data in a large amount, Which was owned by small to large companies to store their information and the information provided by their users. In the mid 1940s "ENIAC (Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer)" a general purpose electronic computer was build by John Presper Eckert and John Mauchly for military use is considered as the forerunner for Data center Technology. A data center includes a lot of servers together, firewalls, etc. For example consider a refrigerator which contains food products which we store in it, and it provides cooling to the food products to protect them likewise in a data center there will be data which we provide and there will be a cooling system to reduce the heat produced by the servers. There should be 24/7 power supply to a refrigerator likewise data centers need 24/7 power and internet connection. These data centers have high levels of security to safeguard data. Small companies have a small data center whereas large companies like GOOGLE have large data centers all over the world.
